Cement Corporation of India Limited (CCI) Bokajan unit has announced an e-tender for the installation of 1MWp grid connected solar PV plants at its premises. This presents an opportunity for experienced contractors to participate in this project. The successful bidder will build, operate, and own the solar power plants for a minimum of 25 years, providing power to CCI at a fixed tariff.

CCI Bokajan unit, a part of Cement Corporation of India Limited, is inviting bids for the installation of 1MWp grid connected solar PV plants.
The tender, open for submission through Electronic Tendering System (ETS), aims to procure experienced contractors capable of undertaking the mentioned work.
Eligibility criteria include experience in completing similar works over the last 5 years, with options ranging from three works costing at least Rs. 2.12 Cr each, to one work costing at least Rs. 4.3 Cr.
Additionally, the tenderer should have implemented at least two 0.5 MWp grid connected solar power projects or one 0.8 MWp project in the last 5 years.
The project site, CCI Bokajan, is located near Dimapur and is well connected by railway and air networks, facilitating easy transportation and logistics.
The selected bidder will be responsible for building, operating, and owning the solar PV plants for a minimum of 25 years, after which the ownership will be transferred to CCI free of cost.
The scope of work includes putting up ground mounted solar power plants on RESCO model, with CCI consuming the generated power at a fixed tariff mutually agreed upon.
The successful bidder must adhere to terms and conditions specified by CCI, ensuring dedicated land usage solely for the solar PV plants.
