In a landmark move aimed at fortifying India’s renewable energy landscape, Cliantech Solutions and Cosmic PV Power have joined forces to establish a 600 MW TOPCon manufacturing line, marking a significant leap forward in the nation’s pursuit of sustainable energy solutions. This collaboration, announced at Intersolar India 2024, propels Cosmic PV Power’s manufacturing capacity to an impressive 1.2 GW, underlining a pivotal moment in the country’s green energy journey.

Cliantech Solutions, a pioneering provider of cutting-edge equipment for solar module manufacturing since its inception in 2019, boasts a distinguished track record, with over 15 GW of machinery installations nationwide. Meanwhile, Cosmic PV Power Private Limited, a burgeoning solar manufacturer with two plants located in Surat, is expanding its operations to meet the escalating demand for solar modules.

Navneet Mehrotra, Director of Cliantech Solutions, shared insights into the partnership in an exclusive interview with SPVToday, emphasizing the collaborative journey since their initial engagement in 2020. He lauded Cosmic PV Power’s technological advancements, citing their successful adoption of innovative technologies like MONO Perc and TOPCon, with a fully operational 600 MW line already in place. Mehrotra extended his congratulations to Cosmic PV Power, expressing confidence in their continued success.
Shravan Gupta, Director of Cosmic PV Power, outlined the project timeline during the interview, revealing plans to receive the new manufacturing line within six months. With this addition, Cosmic PV Power anticipates full operationalization of its 600 MW plant by the end of the second quarter of the upcoming financial year, effectively doubling its manufacturing capacity to 1.2 GW.
