Amendment in Benchmark costs for Off-grid and Decentralized Solar PV Systems for the year 2021-22.
Vide Order of even number dated 18.08.2021, benchmark costs including taxes, were issued for FY 2021-22 by the Ministry. Subsequently, applicable Goods & Services Tax (GST) rates have been revised by GST Council for solar energy applications/ projects.
In view of these recent changes in GST rates and such changes in GST rates in future, it has been decided to issue benchmark costs for decentralized solar applications, without GST.
For the purpose of MNRE CFA, applicable GST rates may be added to these benchmark costs. Accordingly, undersigned is directed to convey the approval of competent authority for issuing the amended benchmark costs, without GST, for Off-grid and Decentralized Solar PV Systems applicable for MNRE Schemes for the year 2021-22.
The benchmark cost is applicable from 18th Aug 2021.
