SJVN Green Energy Invites Bids for Balance of System Package for 400 MW Solar PV Projects in Maharashtra

SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has opened bidding for the Balance of System (BoS) package, including power evacuation, for 400 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) power projects in Maharashtra. These projects, forming part of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited’s (MSEDCL) Phase-VII and Phase-IX initiatives, aim to enhance renewable energy generation in the state. Here’s an overview of the bid document:

Project Scope:

  • The bidding covers the BoS package, encompassing power evacuation, and three years of comprehensive operation and maintenance for the 400 MW (AC) solar PV projects spread across Maharashtra.

Project Locations:

  • Four projects, ranging from 80 MW to 160 MW (AC), will be developed at different locations in Maharashtra, as detailed in the bid document.

Bid Details:

  • Bidders can participate in any number of projects based on their capacity and interest.
  • The bid document, priced at Rs. 5,000.00 +18% GST, is available for download from April 22, 2024, to May 13, 2024.
  • A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 3, 2024, at 11:00 Hrs., facilitating discussions and clarifications.
  • Bids must be submitted by May 14, 2024, by 14:00 Hrs.

Bid security or earnest money deposit must be submitted as follows:

  • For Project-1 (160 MW AC): Rs. 6.37 Crores
  • For Project-2 (80 MW AC): Rs. 3.18 Crores
  • For Project-3 (80 MW AC): Rs. 3.18 Crores
  • For Project-4 (80 MW AC): Rs. 3.18 Crores
