THDC India Limited, a leading player in the power sector, is seeking bids from eligible contractors for the establishment of a grid-connected 11 MW Floating Solar PV (FSPV) Plant at the Raw Water Reservoir of Khurja Super Thermal Power Plant. The project aims to harness renewable energy and enhance sustainability. Here’s a breakdown of the key details:
- Estimated Cost: The project’s estimated cost stands at INR 63.56 Crs. (including GST), with bidding documents available at no cost on the website from March 14, 2024, to April 4, 2024.
- EMD – INR 63,56,000
- Query Submission: Prospective bidders can submit queries for clarification until March 20, 2023, with the bid submission deadline set for April 4, 2024.
- Completion Period: The project is slated for completion within nine months from the effective date of the contract, with bids to be submitted in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Scope of Work: The project entails design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance for three years.
- Technical Criteria:
- Bidders must possess experience in developing solar PV-based grid-connected plants and industrial projects, along with specific qualifications outlined in the tender.
- The Bidder should be a developer of Solar Photo Voltaic (Solar PV) based grid-connected Ground mounted and/or grid-connected Roof-top solar power plants of cumulative installed capacity of 12MWp or higher, out of which at least one plant should have been of 5MWp or higher capacity at a single location. The reference plant of 5MWp or higher capacity must have been in successful operation for at least six (6) months prior to the date of issuance of NIT.
- Alternatively, the Bidder should have executed in the last ten (10) years (from the date of issue of NIT on CPP portal) an industrial project either as developer or as EPC Contractor in the area of power/steel/oil and gas/petrochemical/fertilizer/cement/coal mining including coal handling plant and/or any other process industry, of a value of Rs. 51 Crore (Indian Rupees Fifty one Crore only) or more in a single project or single work, and the same should be in successful operation for at least one (1) year prior to the date of issuance of NIT.
- Additionally, the Bidder should have executed at least one (1) Electrical Sub-station of 33kV or above voltage level, consisting of equipment such as 33kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and Power transformer, either as developer or as EPC Contractor, which should be in successful operation for at least one (1) year prior to the date of issuance of NIT.
