Jaipur Discom Invites tenders for 129.45 MW & 102 MW Solar Power Plant under KUSUM Scheme

Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) has issued a Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for the solarization of agriculture consumers under the KUSUM Scheme. The project aims to design, survey, supply, install, test, commission, operate, and maintain solar power plants for 25 years. The bidding process follows a single-stage two-part procedure, focusing on selecting the bidder offering the lowest levelized tariff for 25 years. JVVNL intends to select RESCO developers for two different capacities under TN-12 and TN-11. Here are the key details of the bid:

Project Description:

  • Solarization of agriculture consumers under KUSUM Scheme – Component C (Feeder Level Solarization).
  • Deployment of Solar PV Technology using established technologies like Crystalline Silicon, Thin Film, or CPV.
  • Supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance for 25 years.

Tenders & Bid Capacities:

  • TN-11: 129.45 MW
  • TN-12: 102.07 MW

Selection Criteria:

  • Lowest (L1) quoted levelized tariff for 25 years after successful negotiation.

Bid Security/EMD:

  • Rs. 1 lakh per MW to be submitted either in physical form or through Bank Guarantee.

  • Opening of Online Technical Bid: 16.04.2024

Estimated Project Cost:

  • Rs. 3.5 Cr. per MWp for the bidded SPV capacity.

Tender Document & Processing Fees:

  • Cost: Rs. 11,800 for the tender document and Rs. 2,950 for e-procurement processing fees.

Bid Validity:

  • 90 days from the date of opening of the online Technical bid.

Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG):

  • Rs. 5 lakhs per MW for the bidded SPV Capacity by the bidder, to be submitted by the selected bidder.
