This solar project aims to harness solar energy under a Captive Energy Banking System to reduce the electricity bill of WTP Varanasi. Here are the key details of the project:
Tender Details:
- The project, named the Bhelupur Solar Power Project, has a proposed capacity of 1 MWp and will utilize SOLAR PV TECHNOLOGY.
- The project site is located within the Varanasi city at WTP BHELUPUR, with land and rooftop availability inside the campus.
- The TURN KEY contractor will be responsible for finalizing the land and rooftop utilization, including the installation of solar PV panels, based on their detailed survey and design.
- The energy generated from the solar project will be supplied to the UPPCL grid, and the adjustment of energy from the bills of WTP Varanasi will be managed through ABT meters.
- The TURN KEY contractor is required to obtain permission from UPPCL for the power adjustment before commencing works.
